Brightness stays on max after returning from flashlight with button long press

• I searched for similar bug reports and found none was relevant.

What happened?

Returning to the watchface with a button long press from the flashlight doesn't return the brightness to its previous state.

What should happen instead?

The brightness should return to its previous state.

Reproduction steps

1. Open the flashlight app.
2. short long press the button to return to the watchface.
3. see that the brightness hasn't returned to its previous state.

Update: if I turn off the screen, when I turn it back on the brightness returns to the state it was before turning on the flashlight.

Reloading the watchface (going to the quick settings/app launcher/notifications and back) also makes the brightness return to its previous state.
