Discuss: Add Sample Project

Should we move all the code to a sub project, and then add a sample project?

I think the docs are really good so this might not be needed. Just seems like the way other java projects have done it, and sort of what I have come to know and expect.

I also think having a gralde plugin that auto wires everything up might be more helpful for the bootstrapping and getting rid of confusion. That should obviously be another project.
