Community Onboarding Plan

Elizabeth is creating an InnerSource Commons community onboarding plan to help people find their way in the community and to provide more clarity about how they can contribute to the project.

Roughly speaking, the timeline is as follows:

1. April 2025 Elizabeth Onboarding and research into the community

   • Connect with folks
   • Read through docs and relevant resources
   • Get to know Slack channels

2. April 2025 Compile common themes and ideas

3. Late April/Early May 2025 Develop a plan for implementation and circulate for feedback

4. May 2025 Plan is approved and implementation begins

5. June 2025 Check-in and iterate on plan

The Onboarding Plan is here and all comments have been resolved, so we are good to move forward with this (per @rrrutledge)

@ElizabethN will provide weekly updates to the Marketing team as to how this is progressing.

I'm going to close this issue for now, and open new issues as needed for action items within the plan itself.
