Hey, thanks for the three suggestions — here’s where each one stands 🙂

Opus support — tracked in #581. It’s planned, and the implementation path is clear now.

Taskbar control buttons — tracked in #583, for the playback controls shown under the taskbar thumbnail preview on Windows.

.lrc detection — good news, this one already works! WaveFlow automatically picks up a .lrc (or .txt) file sitting next to the audio file with the same name, and it also checks a Lyrics/ folder next to it.

If yours isn’t being detected, let me know where the lyrics file sits relative to the song and I’ll take a look.

Thanks a lot for your response! I really appreciate that you're working on adding Opus support. Once that's available, I'll probably completely switch to your music player — it's honestly one of the best-looking music players I've seen, and I really like the amount of customization it offers.

Regarding the taskbar control button, I'm using Linux, so that might be specific to my setup/distro rather than an issue with the player itself.

As for the LRC issue, I initially thought it might have been something on my end, but I tested the same files with other players such as Kopuz and others, and they pick up the external LRC files without any issues.

I think I've figured out what's happening, so let me break it down.

I downloaded all of my songs using yt-dlp, and the resulting files contain an embedded description tag. For example, here's the metadata from one of my files:

I also have an external .lrc file for the song.

From what I can tell, the player is ignoring the actual .lrc file and instead treating the embedded description tag as the lyrics.

My guess is that the player is currently parsing the embedded description metadata as lyrics, even when an external LRC file is available. Other players I've tested don't have this issue with the same files.

I've attached a screenshot showing what the player is displaying as lyrics.

Hopefully this helps track down the issue. Thanks again for your work on the player!
