Some Characters Display as ? in the Console and Log

Description

Some characters display as ? in the console and log.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a new folder that has Chinese characters in the name. Ex: "Test 漢字"
2. Select the folder in CompactGUI and press analyze
3. Show console output
4. The folder will be displayed as "Test ??"
5. Save log
6. The folder will be displayed as "Test ??" in the log

Expected behavior: The folder would be displayed as "Test 漢字"

Actual behavior: The folder was displayed as "Test ??"
