Prepares the repo for a public release and open source contributions.

Changes

  • App icon: the puppy mascot is now the macOS app icon. Rendered from the SwiftUI sprite onto a dark squircle plate, full AppIcon.appiconset (16 through 1024), wired via ASSETCATALOG_COMPILER_APPICON_NAME.
  • README: rewritten for open source. Icon header, screenshots, install and build instructions, contributing notes. No emojis, no em dashes.
  • docs/assets: app icon plus four UI screenshots (search home, results, inspector, launcher), size optimized.
  • .gitignore: ignore local agent/skill tooling and release packaging output.

Verification

  • Release build succeeds and embeds AppIcon.icns.
  • App signs with Developer ID Application, hardened runtime, secure timestamp.

- Rewrite README for open source: icon header, screenshots, install and build
instructions, contributing notes. No emojis or em dashes.
- Add docs/assets with the icon and four UI screenshots.
- Ignore local agent/skill tooling and release packaging output.
