Welcome to our Expo app 👋

This is an Expo project created with create-expo-app.

Get started

  1. Install dependencies

    npm install
  2. Set up environment variables

    • Create a .env file in the root directory (you can copy .env.example).
    • Add your API keys:
      EXPO_PUBLIC_GEMINI_API_KEY=your_gemini_api_key
    • Note: Get a free Gemini API key at Google AI Studio.
  3. Start the app

    npx expo start

You can start developing by editing the files inside the app directory. This project uses file-based routing.

Get a fresh project

When you're ready, run:

npm run reset-project

This command will move the starter code to the app-example directory and create a blank app directory where you can start developing.

A nutritional program that implements a Decision Engine to summarize nutritional data fetched from an open-source database. We will use filters for certain diets, demographics, and other factors like disabilities. This program with involve using a camera to scan a barcode of a certain product and a small summary based on the users filters
