Songs could get stuck on "Track load timed out" when your audio output
device had shifted since you last chose it. Tideway identified the
output by its position in the system's device list, and that position
moves whenever a device connects or disconnects, so pairing a Bluetooth
speaker or having a virtual device like Teams present could bump your
saved choice onto a microphone. Playback then tried to open sound on an
input and failed. Tideway now remembers the output device by name and
reopens it reliably, falling back to the system default when the device
is genuinely gone. Your output selection resets once on this update, so
if you play through a specific device rather than the system default,
pick it again in Settings and it will stick from then on.
