What's New in v0.2.7

New Features

  • Training Without Engine: Capture training screenshots without starting the detection engine

    • New game profiles can now capture images immediately after creation
    • No YOLO model required to start collecting training data
    • Uses direct screen capture when engine is not running
  • Configurable Capture Hotkey: Training capture hotkey is now user-configurable

    • Default: F1
    • Change in Training tab > Capture Settings

Improvements

  • Better Error Messages: Training capture now shows descriptive error popups

    • Clear messages for disabled training, missing profiles, capture failures
    • Window-specific errors when using window capture mode
  • Profile Creation: Improved new game profile workflow

    • Config file creation is now verified
    • Training defaults to disabled until user enables it

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed: New profiles couldn't capture training images (chicken-and-egg problem)
  • Fixed: Training data manager not initialized when selecting a game profile

  • Crosshair Overlay: Customizable crosshair overlay for visual accessibility
    • Shapes: Circle or Box (large, high-visibility designs)
    • Configurable size (50-100px), colors, and outline thickness
    • Toggle with hotkey (default: Alt+C)
    • Configure via Game Settings > Crosshair tab

Improvements

  • Waypoint Window: Fixed sizing so bottom buttons display correctly
  • Arc Raiders Model: Updated detection model with improved accuracy

Notes

  • Crosshair intentionally uses large shapes (50px minimum) to assist with visual accessibility, not as a competitive aiming aid

What's New in v0.2.5

New Features

  • Waypoint Tracker System: New dedicated waypoint tracking with configurable intervals
    • Read Mode: Automatically reads waypoint text via OCR at set intervals
    • Sonar Mode: Plays directional audio beeps to indicate waypoint location
      • Left of screen = left headphone only
      • Right of screen = right headphone only
      • Center 15% = both headphones equally
    • Configure via Game Settings > Waypoint Tracker

Improvements

  • Position-based Auto-read: Auto-read now triggers when objects move significantly on screen, improving inventory navigation
  • Unified Confidence Threshold: Auto-read and Waypoint features now share the same confidence threshold setting
  • Window Waiting: Engine now waits for game window to appear instead of failing if window isn't open

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed issue where auto-read would fail after adjusting confidence settings
  • Fixed sonar beep logic to properly restart timer after playing
