Clock-on-display while streaming, separately switchable (note: a user reports the clock option is on yet the clock is missing while streaming, which is likely a bug to check and not only a feature)

It would be great when it is possible to choose to show the clock instead of the song title.
When playing hitster (boardgame in which you have to guess the song title) it is not nice to see it in the display.

That is exactly what this idea is about, and the Hitster case is a good reason for it. Today you can at least switch off "Show the current title on the speaker display" in the speaker settings; STR then stops putting song titles on the display, and it shows the station or preset name instead. The clock itself is not shown while streaming yet.

A first spike on the Portable shows a clock on the display during playback is technically possible, without the audio gap. Details in #1168. Nothing of it is in STR yet.

Is there a way to increase the size of the clock display...similar to how you are showing STR on the display

The clock you see today comes from the Bose firmware, in its own font and size, and STR can't change either. A bigger clock would be drawn by STR itself, the same way it draws the STR logo at start-up, and that is what this idea would build. I've added the large size to the backlog entry, so it's part of it from the start.

Shipped in v1.0.13 on every SoundTouch with a display (20, 30, Portable and Wave): switch on "Time during playback" in the speaker's settings in the app, and the time stays on the display while radio, Spotify or your music library plays. Screenshots are in #1305. Tell me how it works for you.
