STR Remote – iOS remote control for SoundTouch Reborn

[Wagges]

Hi everyone,

I’d like to share STR Remote, a free iPhone app for controlling speakers running SoundTouch Reborn on the local Wi‑Fi network.

It provides:

• Speaker selection, volume, playback, and input control
• Internet-radio search and presets
• Multiroom playback groups with group volume control
• Sleep timer and alarm functions running directly on the speaker
• Automatic speaker discovery or manual setup by IP address
• German and English app interface; French and Spanish will follow in the next update

The app does not require an account, cloud service, or in-app purchases.

STR Remote is an independent community project. It is not affiliated with Bose or the developer of SoundTouch Reborn. For questions about the app, please use its support page:

App Store:

Feedback is very welcome.

Great to see this, and thanks for keeping it free and free of tracking! The endpoints it builds on are documented in docs/CONTROL-API.md; if you need one added or changed, open an issue.
