What I miss most is having my SiriusXM stations set up as presets. It was like having a car radio with SiriusXM pushbuttons. I hope there is a plan to implement this lost function. Thank you.

Not today, and the pushbutton half of what you describe already works.

Hardware keys 1 to 6 are back for every source STR can play: internet radio, Spotify, a folder from a NAS, and any direct audio URL. What is missing is the SiriusXM audio itself, not the preset mechanism.

On SiriusXM: a contributor wrote a full native client for it and offered it as PR #737. It is not merged, and the reason is shape rather than quality. The right place for it is a separate sidecar in his own repository talking to STR over a local HTTP interface, the same pattern the Spotify engine uses, which keeps a reimplemented client for a paid DRM service and its upkeep out of this tree. The open question before anything ships is the terms-of-service footing of a non-official client.
