crossvalidation function #13

It seem to me that we're missing a crossvalidation function in the package. I'm just wondering if you guys have a general cross valid code that'll work for what ever many power you want, or should I just upload few general ones, like from x^1 to x^5, something like that.
Tyler wrote one that works for powers 1-5 but it may be good to just submit the five different power functions. What do you think?
