What comes after 1.0.1, in the order it will be worked on. Nothing here is a promise until it runs; the README's rule holds, that nothing is claimed before it is checked.
1. Reports from machines other than mine. The port was built and played on one PC and, for 1.0.1, a Steam Deck. What other GPUs, drivers and Windows 10 do with it is what 1.0.2 will be made of, as 1.0.1 was made of the first reports. If something goes wrong, open an issue and attach
snap64.logfrom the folder with the executable.2. A page in the game for rebinding. Since 1.0.1 every key, mouse button and pad button is a row in the settings file's table, and an N64-shaped pad is recognised. What is left is changing them without editing the file, and binding the sticks themselves. Asked for in #3.
3. Widescreen beyond the Beach. The missing Pokémon and effect sprites are fixed; the other courses have not been played with the option on. A report from any of them, good or bad, is worth having.
4. Steam Deck. The native Linux build has been played on a Deck in Desktop Mode through a day of testing: the Beach with gyro aim, the menus, the settings, the Snap Station. What remains is Gaming Mode, where Steam offers only its own virtual pad and the gyro reaches the port as mouse look, and the top-left flicker at the Beach's start.
5. VR. An idea under investigation, not a plan: stereo rendering and head tracking would have to be built into the renderer.
Ideas belong in the Ideas category; bugs belong in Issues.
