Summary

Promotes PRs #34 (docs polish) and #35 (changelog entry) from develop to main for tagging as v1.2.1.

Documentation-only release. No code behaviour changes; safe drop-in upgrade.

Fixed — stale version claims

• README.md and SECURITY.md no longer frame the library as pre-v1.
• CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md enforcement channel is no longer routed to the security advisory page.

Changed — godoc clarifications

• auth/jwt/config.go: Audience docs explain the primaryAudience snapshot contract.
• auth/password/password.go: Verify docs list the exact PHC parameter ranges.
• internal/keymanager: package doc mentions the 4 KiB key-file size cap.

Merge method

Create a merge commit (preserves develop ancestry, consistent with #31 / #33).

Post-merge

• Tag v1.2.1 on the resulting main HEAD.
• Publish GitHub Release with notes from CHANGELOG.

Test plan

• PR docs: post-v1.2.0 polish — fix stale version claims and clarify feature contracts #34 + docs(changelog): add [1.2.1] entry — documentation-only release #35 CI green on develop
