Description
This pull request updates the GitHub Actions workflow for testing and coverage reporting to improve reliability, accuracy, and maintainability. The main changes include restructuring how code coverage is collected and reported, enforcing stricter coverage thresholds, and ensuring that Windows tests only run after Ubuntu tests succeed.
Testing and Coverage Workflow Improvements:
pytestcommand now enforces a minimum coverage threshold of 98% on pull requests from forks, adds branch coverage reporting, and increases the number of slowest test durations reported.Coveragejob is introduced to post the coverage report as a comment on the pull request, running only after Ubuntu tests complete successfully and only for pull requests from the main repository.Workflow Structure and Reliability Enhancements:
