Hi, I would like to propose a new feature regarding the LLM summary generation. Currently, it appears that once a summary is generated by the LLM for a specific timeline, it is locked and cannot be altered or regenerated.
Proposed Feature:
It would be highly beneficial to introduce a "Regenerate" button (or a similar manual trigger) that allows users to force the system to generate a new summary for an existing timeline.
Motivation & Use Case:
The primary motivation for this request is to allow users to evaluate and compare the capabilities of different LLMs. For example, a user might want to switch the underlying model in the settings and then re-summarize the same timeline to see which model produces a more accurate or higher-quality result.
Additionally, this feature would be great as a fallback in case the initial LLM response was of poor quality or encountered a temporary generation error.
Thank you for considering this request! I look forward to hearing your thoughts on whether this could fit into the project's future roadmap.
Best regards
