Description

Description

The procedurally generated music tracks (ambient, combat, victory, defeat) sound like white noise/static. SFX are acceptable but music needs real composition.

Options

  1. AI generation — Use Suno, Udio, or similar with dark-fantasy RPG prompts
  2. Free music — Source from OpenGameArt, Incompetech (Kevin MacLeod), or freemusicarchive.org (CC0/CC-BY)
  3. Local AI — If audiocraft/MusicGen can be installed

Suno Prompts (if going AI route)

  • Ambient: "Dark fantasy ambient, mysterious dungeon atmosphere, low drone, subtle chimes, medieval dark, loopable, 30 seconds"
  • Combat: "Intense dark fantasy battle music, driving percussion, minor key, orchestral, aggressive, 140 BPM, loopable, 20 seconds"
  • Victory: "Triumphant fantasy fanfare, orchestral brass, major key, heroic, celebratory, 8 seconds"
  • Defeat: "Somber defeat theme, minor key strings, slow tempo, melancholic, 6 seconds"

Requirements

  • 4 music tracks that sound professional
  • Loop cleanly (ambient + combat)
  • File size < 2MB each
  • License compatible (CC0, CC-BY, or AI-generated with commercial rights)

Priority

P1 — Current music actively hurts the game experience
