Dusklight VR 1.0

This is the first public release of the mod. Just unzip the file, open your VR software of choice (SteamVR, Meta Link, or Virtual desktop with VDXR), and run the EXE. Virtual Desktop is recommended for performance. You will need to either press enter on your keyboard or click the "Play" button in the window on your desktop to start the game.

Known issues:

• I only tested the game on a Quest 2 and 3. I have no idea whether or not it will work on any other headset, especially the controls.

• Wolf Link sections are in 3rd person. This is because Wolf Link is on 4 legs, meaning he has to rotate his whole body to turn, compared to a human standing up. This gets his viewmodel in the way and throws the camera around in a disorienting way. I am open to suggestions on how to handle these sections, but for now you are welcome to enjoy the view in VR or just rest and play these parts in flatscreen.

• Sometimes loading a new scene, such as going into a building or a new area, will place the camera either too low or too high. To combat this, after loading stand still without pressing any buttons for about 3 seconds, or until you see the UI (buttons, hearts, map, etc)

• Cutscenes are completely broken. I have them set to be first person when Link is loaded in, and third person when he is not rendered. However, sometimes Link is loaded, just out of bounds, and you were obviously never supposed to be able to see outside the edges of the screen, causing characters and objects to disappear and some of their animations to freeze. This can't be fixed without re-animating every cutscene in the game, so it is recommended to watch these in flatscreen.

• A lot of effects use screenspace reflections, meaning it draws what you see on a texture, like the water surface reflecting. These all have to be manually disabled one by one, so it will take some time and likely a few builds to find each effect and turn them off.
