Thanks so much for the kind words, glad the switch from Goodnotes went smoothly! There isn't an adjustable stabilization setting yet: FineNotes only smooths strokes automatically on some iPads. A stroke stabilization slider for each pen, like Goodnotes has, is a good idea, and I'll look into adding it. Which iPad and iPadOS version are you using? That helps me check what your Pencil input looks like. |

This is in FineNotes 2.4.1: stroke stabilization, a slider for each pen like in Goodnotes. Tap the pen in the pen pill, then Pen settings, and drag Stroke stabilization. Each pen keeps its own setting and starts at 0% (off). Around 5–20% already steadies a wobble without rounding small letters; higher settings smooth more but round off small loops. Update FineNotes and give it a try, and let me know how it feels with your handwriting! |
Uh oh!

Hihi,
I've been loving FineNotes so far, and all the features are so convenient to use, especially with how the layout is close to Goodnotes, it made to switch from using it to this so much easier!
I just wanted to ask and share a feature for the ability to adjust the pen stroke stabilization as well, since my strokes are kind of wobblily when I handwrite. I didn't know if it's already an implemented feature or not, so I wanted to ask here, and if not, would it be possible to add it as an additional feature?
Also just wanted to say thank you for creating this plugin, I really enjoy and appreciate it! :D
