Which functions do you need in your KNX projects?
#6
KNX Studio uses functions such as lighting, shading, or heating to describe the functionality of a KNX project. Based on their properties (e.g. switching, status, up/down), KNX Studio automatically generates the required group addresses.
Currently supported functions include:
Light: Switching, status; optional dimming, RGB
Shading: Up/down, stop/step; optional position
Socket: Switching, status; optional power, energy, current, voltage
Thermostat: Actual/setpoint temperature; optional operating mode, heating/cooling demand, fan speed

To make these functions useful for as many real-world KNX projects as possible, I’d love your feedback:
Which important functions or properties are still missing? Are there devices or use cases that cannot yet be represented properly?
Concrete examples from your projects would be especially helpful. Thanks!
