spotube.cc redirects to gambling sites on mobile

Hi, I visited the official website spotube.cc on my Android phone (DuckDuckGo browser) and it immediately triggered multiple redirects to gambling sites.
Looking at the page source I can see a meta-monetag tag embedded in the site. Monetag is an aggressive ad network known for triggering pop-ups and redirects on mobile browsers, particularly to gambling and casino sites. Most of the redirects were blocked by my browser but without ad blocking they would go through.
I understand the project needs funding but this ad network in particular is very aggressive and likely to alarm or harm users who visit the official site on mobile. It also seems contradictory for a privacy-focused open source project to use such invasive monetization on its website.
Would it be possible to either remove Monetag or replace it with a less aggressive alternative? A simple donation link or Open Collective banner would be much less harmful.
