BrickLayer Protocol

BrickLayer Protocol is a Web3-based real estate tokenization platform enabling fractional ownership and programmable rental income distribution.

Overview

BrickLayer Protocol leverages blockchain technology to democratize real estate investment by tokenizing properties as NFTs. Built on Arbitrum for fast, low-cost transactions, our platform enables investors to purchase fractional ownership in real estate assets with investments as low as $10, receive automated rental income distributions, and trade their holdings on secondary markets.

Key Features

  • Fractional Ownership: Invest in high-value real estate with minimal capital through tokenized shares
  • Smart Contract Automation: Automated rental income distribution and property management via blockchain
  • NFT-Based Assets: Each property share is represented as a unique, tradeable NFT
  • Secondary Marketplace: Buy and sell property tokens with other investors
  • Transparent Operations: All transactions and asset data recorded on-chain
  • KYC/AML Compliant: Built with regulatory compliance in mind

Technical Architecture

Smart Contracts

  • BrickLayerAsset.sol: Dynamic NFT contract for real estate tokenization with evolving metadata
  • BrickLayerMarketplace.sol: Decentralized marketplace for trading property NFTs
  • BrickLayerRealEstate.sol: Property management and rental distribution logic
  • IBrickLayerAsset.sol: Standard interface for asset contracts

Frontend

  • React 18+ with modern hooks
  • Tailwind CSS for responsive design
  • Web3.js/Ethers.js for blockchain integration
  • Three.js for 3D property visualizations
  • React Router for navigation

Backend

  • Node.js/Express API
  • PostgreSQL database
  • RESTful architecture
  • OpenAPI 3.0 specification
