Hello everyone,
This discussion summarises my work on TENeT (Telehealth Effectiveness & Necessity Tracker) during the GSoC 2026 coding period. The scope below starts from the official coding-period boundary on May 25, 2026 and does not include my earlier pre-GSoC contributions. PR #48 is included because its coding-period work was completed and merged after this boundary.
Coding-period contributions
1. Reproducible development and testing foundation
2. Community discovery, map experience, and data cleanup
3. Research profiles, reports, and community comparison
4. What-if Scenario Mode
5. Quality, accessibility, CI, documentation, and maintainability
6. Frontend hardening and final UI quality
7. Final correctness, data, reporting, and production readiness
Short project summary
During the coding period, I developed TENeT from a working prototype into a more complete, testable, and deployable decision-support platform for telehealth planning in Alaska. My work covered reproducible Docker setup, community discovery and comparison, research profiles and PDF reporting, real broadband-performance data, season-aware analysis, interactive what-if scenarios, frontend and API hardening, automated tests and CI, maintainer documentation, canonical telehealth classification, and production readiness.
In total, this coding-period record contains 35 pull requests merged.
It was truly a great experience working with my mentors @pradeeban and Ryan Birmingham. Got to learn a lot from this journey of 3 months of coding period as well as the pre-coding period.
Thank you
