Version 2.5.0 brings a new 24-perspective capture mode, more granular grid controls, and several fixes and cleanups!
🔥 Now works again in 5.6-5.7
- UE 5.6–5.7 Camera Actor Crash: Fixed an issue where the plugin did not work in Unreal Engine 5.6 and 5.7 due to the camera actor being destroyed too quickly without a delay.
✨ New Features & Tweaks
- 24-Perspective Capture: Replaced the old 4-camera pose option with an all-new 24-perspective mode, capturing significantly more angles from a single point.
- Independent Grid Dimensions: Added the option to individually control the height and width of the capture grid.
🔧 Other Fixes
- Per-Point Rotation Modulo: Fixed the per-point rotation modulo so that every second point in the grid is now correctly rotated at a 45° angle, resulting in better overall coverage.
🗑️ Removed
- Add Jitter: Removed the jitter option, as it showed no measurable improvement in Gaussian Splat results.
