Rocket-powered AI tab completions. Fast. Intuitive. Reliable. Dependable.

Use any FIM-capable model to power TabRocket completions over the OpenAI-compatible completions API, including local engines like Ollama and LM Studio.

Supports Qwen3-Coder, Qwen3-Coder-Next, Qwen2.5-Coder, SeedCoder, Granite 4, StarCoder2, Stable Code, CodeGemma.

Works best with Python, TypeScript, TypeScript TSX and Go.

Setup

1. Install the extension.
2. Go to the settings.
3. Put OpenAI-compatible API endpoint in TabRocket: Base URL (e.g. http://localhost:11434/v1 for Ollama).
4. Put your model name in TabRocket: Model Name (e.g. qwen3-coder).
5. Select appropriate type of prompt template in TabRocket: Prompt Template.
6. Set your API key by clicking "🚀 TabRocket" item in status bar (bottom-right) if needed (or use TabRocket: Set API Key command from command palette (Ctrl+Shift+P/Cmd+Shift+P)).
7. Code 🚀.
