yes it takes too long to fetch a complete list of categories that kick supports. at one point in developing my app i was able to request 1,000 categories at a time reducing the number of times i needed to call the endpoint to retrieve complete list of categories and cache them for the day ( i could do this yesterday, it seemed ).
however, within a day this is no longer possible somehow, and now i can only retrieve 100 categories from the v2 endpoint. with over 10,000 categories this significantly increases the number of times i have to call the endpoint.

increase the limit of categories that you can request from this endpoint to at least 1,000.
Describe alternatives you've considered
right now i cache the categories once a day for updates to use in my application but it takes too long retrieving 100 categories at a time with over 10,000 categories.
