P+Ex v1.7
After over 6 months since P+Ex v1.6, comes the release of P+Ex v1.7. This update is almost exclusively for the purpose of adding Dark Samus, though various Ex-specific fixes are included in this update.
[NOTICE]: As of P+Ex v1.7, I will no longer be hosting the Windows/Mac/Linux Dolphin builds, as to save upload time. I also trust that most of you already have your own version of Dolphin on-hand. Additionally, the Dolphin which was bundled with previous versions of P+Ex have always been the Dolphin that's already with P+. Instead, the P+Ex launcher and sd.raw files will be provided for users to use with whichever build of Dolphin they have.
The "full" Wii version currently sits at 2.09 GB, so if you're a user who runs a hackless setup, then the "Lite" build is recommended, as it compresses the build size to 1.87 GB by compressing the bitrate of all the game's music to 24k. However, if your 2 GB SD is too small for even the Lite version of P+Ex, it's recommended you learn how to homebrew your console instead in order to use a higher capacity SD card
- There is a potential workaround in regards to running P+Ex (full or lite) via hackless. You do so by entering the P+Ex Launcher with your 2 GB SD card, and swapping your SD with your SDHC, and launching the game.
The Modder's Pack includes files for custom build creation, such as stage imagery templates and full resolution HD textures. The contents are identical to the P+ v3.1.5 Modder's Pack, but with Ex-exclusive assets added.
[DISCLAIMER]: P+Ex and any added characters are not tournament friendly and are both intended to serve a casual modding experience. If for any reason you wish to use P+Ex in a tournament that's hosting P+, I strongly recommend going over with your TO about it. I will not be held responsible for any fallout from the failure to heed this warning.
If you wish to install Dark Samus yourself without the need for P+Ex, you can download a BrawlInstaller package by following this link: Dark Samus BrawlInstaller Package
P+Ex v1.6
A week after the release of Project+ v3.1.5, comes the release of P+Ex v1.6. While this update is mostly an integration of Project+ v3.1.5, it also features some Ex-exclusive fixes (namely fixing crash reports from console players), more Ex fighter balance changes (Ridley, Sceptile, Yellow Alloy, and Green Alloy), and the introduction of RSP loading, eliminating the need to use CSPs entirely.
The "full" Wii version currently sits at 2.05 GB, so if you're a user who runs a hackless setup, then the "Lite" build is recommended, as it compresses the build size to 1.83 GB by compressing the bitrate of all the game's music to 24k. However, if your 2 GB SD is too small for even the Lite version of P+Ex, it's recommended you learn how to homebrew your console instead in order to use a higher capacity SD card

P+Ex v1.5.5
Coming from a 6 month drought after P+Ex v1.5.1, P+Ex v1.5.5 arrives! While this update is mostly an integration of Project+ versions 3.1.0 through 3.1.2, it also features dedicated balance changes for Sceptile and Waluigi, on-top of further improved Kirby hat functionality. Additionally, a new download option has been included for those who already have their own Dolphin and simply just want the build and launcher itself.
Due to recent breakthroughs in build compression, the Wii Lite version sits at rouhghly 1.83 GB, which should fit on most hackless setups. Wii Lite only changes music compression to lower the total build size for those who need the extra SD space. In the chance your SD card is too small for P+Ex Lite, it's recommended you learn how to homebrew your console instead in order to use a higher capacity SD card.
