Hi @olearypatrick and @jourdain,
- When we use a log/symlog scale and a discrete colormap, there is a text box with the title "Colors per decade". Does "decade" mean one order or magnitude here, like from 1E5 to 1E6? If so, could we change that title to "Colors per order of magnitude"? In Earth system modeling, "decade" usually means 10 years.
- It looks like we can have a maximum of 5 colors per "decade". Could we increase that upper limit to, say, 20? I understand one might argue that using many colors would defeat the purpose of using a discrete colormap; but for data exploration, it would be useful to be able to see how an image would change if we gradually changed the number of colors.
Thanks!
