It looks like when the user switches to a discrete colormap, the default number of colors per tick interval or order of magnitude is 1. Could we change it to 4? Both myself and a colleague got the wrong initial impression that an image we got with 1 color per interval was indicating something was not working properly. I think setting that initial number to something like 4 would help avoid the misunderstanding. Thanks!
