Enabling Film grain effects breaks the peak brightness cap, see here.
HDR Settings:
Brightness - Screen brightness / paper white; lowest value is 1 nit, highest value is 1000 nits, default is 250 nits.

Review:
This is what I like to see! Outside the film grain bug (which still hasn't been fixed since May when the game came out), everything just works. HDR doesn't have any weird gimmicks, basically it looks like it should.
@Filoppi did his own analysis when the game came out, which you can read here if you want more technical details. As far as I can tell, nothing has really changed since then.
Overall, the film grain bug and some banding aside, I have nothing to complain about.
