Better login experience

When logging in via e-mail (which is a REALLY idiotic concept)
I get to choose from 10 email accounts. No way to remember which one to choose; if i choose one randomly, I get a login code (after god knows how long time) and it's not the correct one, I get logged in, but none of my data is visible (obviously).

What's wrong with a username/password login?

Why can't i have a local scratch pad?

How do I know when I will have to log in so I can plan? I may not be on-line all the time...

Oh, yeah and to make things even more annoying, whan logging in via the web browser (ff) Insomnia does not log in; I have to launch the browser again.

Not to mention that if i log out of insomnia, I have to log out of the web page as well, otherwise I'm still authenticated if i open Insomnia again.

2. Local scratch pad: You can use Insomnia's Local Scratch Pad without logging in to an Insomnia account. This allows you to work locally without requiring an account login.

3. How often you need to log in: You should not be logged out of Insomnia unless you explicitly log out. If you are referring to the authentication session in your web browser, the timing can depend on the browser session and authentication configuration, and there isn't a notification that can predict when another browser authentication may be required.

4. Logging in through Firefox: After completing the login in your browser, you can select Open/Launch Insomnia from the browser to return to the Insomnia desktop application.

If Firefox does not return you to Insomnia as expected and you need to relaunch the browser for the login to complete, we'd be happy to investigate this further. Could you provide your Insomnia version, Firefox version, operating system, and the exact steps you follow when this occurs?
