Make the settings-format interchangeable between linux, mac (and windows)

Hi!

I've tried to share my settings between computers through dropbox and symlinks but on Mac I don't see any dashboards or settings.

Would i be possible to have the format be interchangeable so I can work on both computers and have all the dashboards and requests synced?

That would be an awesome feature.
