Basic Hook

Overview

Basic Hook is a lightweight program that enables switching between Basic and Aero visual styles directly through the Personalization page in the Control Panel.

Setup

1. Install Basic Themer and DWM Unextend Frames mods via Windhawk.
2. Place basic.theme in C:\Windows\Resources\Ease of Access Themes.
3. Copy your current .msstyles to C:\Windows\Resources\Aero and rename it to basic.msstyles.
4. Create a startup task for basichook.exe with the highest privileges.
