Manual: recipe-first rewrite, trim 13%, refresh screenshots
Restructure the manual around recipes as the primary way the app is used,
cut accumulated verbosity, and move troubleshooting into the FAQ.
Structure
- Recipes promoted to chapter 4, Profiles to 5; Profiles now reads as the
engine inside a recipe rather than the main entry point.
- New chapter 5 "Beans, Equipment and Grind" — these lived inside "The Idle
Screen", where nobody would look for them.
- Idle screen leads with the recipes-first layout instead of apologising for
Profiles-led screenshots.
- Bean Base linking was documented in four places; now one, with pointers.
- Auto-Load Profile and Auto-Load Recipe merged into one section.
- Chapter anchors rewritten across Manual, FAQ and Quick-Start.
Trimming (25,963 -> 22,494 words)
- Dropped changelog-style prose explaining what the app used to do, stale
1.x version gates, and meta-commentary about the wiki itself.
- Installation chapter collapsed to a pointer at the Installation page.
- Troubleshooting moved to the FAQ, which is now the troubleshooting page.
Corrections found by checking screenshots and source against the text
- Bottom bar is Sleep/Flush/History/Equipment/Profiles/Settings, not
"Profiles, History, Favorites, and Settings".
- Pill rows page by available space, not "five at a time".
- Background chooser has four sections, not two.
- settings-history-data.png and settings-calibration-2.png had swapped
contents; the Data Management chapter was showing the Themes tab.
- Settings tab is "History & Data", not "Data" (13 occurrences).
- D-Flow and Advanced editor docs were nested under "Renaming Profiles".
- FAQ contradicted the manual on AI provider choice, search syntax, MCP
version, language path, and the ratio dialog.
Newly documented
- Quality dots on shot history rows (ShotHistoryPage.qml).
- Backup time, retention, location, and Export Shots to File.
- Shot Map manual city; 97 MCP tools.
MCP chapter now leads with Remote Access, states that only one of the two
setups is needed, and calls out that it is the only route reaching the
mobile and tablet apps.
Screenshots: 12 refreshed or added, 4 obsolete files removed.
