UI: decide on form libraries

No action needed yet, just curating some options for JS/React libs for the Advanced Search form...

React hook form is the gut feeling right now. Looks so lightweight and simple, and the builder is just a bonus.

Would just need a way to style it is all, forms can be pretty nasty.

Yeah react-hook-form. Sold, for the reasons mentioned in the issue descrip above and the comparisons on their website (and others) which do not favor Formik. Also easy integration with MUI:

FWIW- while MUI has form inputs (which we'll be using if rolling w/MUI), a form lib is going to remove a lot of headaches.

(this issue was mostly thinking-out-loud from the dev standpoint, not really any input needed, just me mulling the options, thought process in selection, and considerations in case anyone needs to reference it down the road)
