Thank you, @wang0331 Can you please test the current master of OpenPDF, and see if you think it's ready for OpenPDF 3.0.1 release? |
I'd be happy to take this on! However, the request is a bit broad for me to act on effectively. Could you please provide any testing information/guidelines from previous OpenPDF releases as a reference? I plan to verify core functionality and performance, expand on the test plan comprehensively, and also check for issues related to dependency updates and other relevant aspects. |

Through the PR: #1482, I added support for the IVS feature to the Java 8 version of OpenPDF, along with corresponding unit tests, and completed local builds for verification.
I am a R&D engineer in the international department of a top-tier product in the Chinese reporting market (ranked Top 1,Fanruan Software), with profound expertise in PDF export technologies for reporting systems and related domains.
Now that I have a deeper understanding of the code contribution process, I aim to contribute code as a contributor to the OpenPDF project, going beyond just submitting unit tests and bug fixes.
Could you please advise on what steps I need to take to become a core contributor to OpenPDF? This will help me transparently track and communicate my progress while working on tasks.
Thanks!
