Luscus is a utility developed for the community of owners of Virpil branded equipment. Our goal is simply to help users get the absolute most out of their hardware by providing simple lighting customization.
We aim to make the complex world of peripheral lighting feel intuitive and seamless.
- One-Click Profile Switching: Customize all connected peripherals simultaneously. Switch between full, coordinated setups with a single click.
- Multi-Profile Support: Create and save numerous lighting profiles for different uses (e.g., Flight Sim, Space Sim, general use).
- Comprehensive Control: Design lighting layouts that can be independently managed for each connected piece of hardware.
- Currently Supported Hardware:
MongoosT-50CM3Control Panel #1
This initial version serves as a proof-of-concept and a stable base for community use. While it is functional "out of the box," its structure is designed to be solid and extensible for future improvements.
This application is designed for ease of use:
- Launch: Simply double-click the executable (
.exe). There are no external dependencies required! - System Tab (The Hardware):
- This tab lists all available hardware detected on your system.
- Select the correct model for Virpil ones.
- Advanced Tip: Series connection is supported (secondary peripherals plugged into an
AUXport) ! - Naming Devices: Please remember to name your devices. This custom name allows you to override the default USB name, which is crucial safety measure during potential firmware updates.
- Layout Tab (The Design):
- This is where the customization happens. A layout is strictly associated with one specific model.
- The strength of Luscus is that you can create multiple layouts for a single model—allowing you to store specific lighting states for different contexts.
- Profile Tab (The Experience):
- Create as many profiles as you need (e.g., "FA/18," "A10-C," "300i," "Python").
- In each profile, you associate the desired Layout to each specific piece of hardware.
- When you select and apply a profile, the single-click magic happens: all associated peripherals switch to their defined, coordinated state.
This project thrives on feedback and community involvement! We are actively seeking feedback and enthusiasm to improve Luscus.
- Hardware Not Supported? If you own Virpil equipment not listed here, we would love for you to test it! If you are motivated and interested in helping us extend the compatibility list, please let us know. Your participation is the best contribution we can ask for.
- Bugs/Improvements: Did you find a bug, or do you have an idea for a feature? Please open an Issue—all suggestions are highly appreciated!
