Audio pop present when waking from sleep under specific situation

Experiencing one audio pop under this specific sequence, on 6.9.3 but present back to RC1.

Steps to recreate:

1. Power on device.
2. Leave device untouched, allow it to go into sleep normally.
3. Wake from sleep creates one pop, subsequent wakes do not until reboot.
4. Reboot again and the same behavior can be replicated.
