This request is to better utilise new SPI libraries introduced in Arduino 1.5.8 (back-ported but net released in 1.0.x). You can read about it in the following thread. Skip down to Post 12, it provides all the background. Then Post 14,16,22, and 23 discuss a specific issue, with how it was coded.
