Really appreciate you spending time on this, it's exactly what I was looking for.

Is it possible for the first time user experience to be simpler? Ideally 1 command to convert any Streamlit app into a standalone web app, no config needed. E.g. I think we can traverse the dependencies from APP_ENTRYPOINT to get all the APP_FILES, instead of asking users to declare them.

Yes it's a good idea - I will try!

I think it should be very possible for the dependencies, but perhaps we would still need APP_FILES for assets such as images.

Do you think that is unreasonable?

Hi, just to let you know I've been working on this.
I have made it so the user can include a requirements.txt for the app so no need to provide those in the yaml.
The script also automatically adds the modules now.
It also attempts to find any file-like paths and add those to the project.
The user also has the option to provide a list of files to include.

I'm away on holiday for a week now so will do some testing before a release, hopefully before the end of January.
