Bug Fixes

  • AUTH_ENABLED=false now actually disables API authentication — Previously, setting AUTH_ENABLED=false only disabled the /query endpoint guard. The BearerAuth and WriteAuth middleware were still applied to all API routes, causing 401 errors even with auth disabled. Now all auth middleware is skipped when AUTH_ENABLED=false.

  • Unit Tracker: talkgroup clicks open an info modal instead of broken API links — Clicking a talkgroup name on the Unit Tracker page previously navigated to a raw /api/v1/talkgroups/{id}/calls endpoint in a new tab. Because this was a direct browser navigation (not a fetch() call), auth.js couldn't inject the auth token, resulting in a 401. Now clicking a TG name opens an info modal showing description, group, category, system, call stats (1h/24h/total), unit count, first/last seen, and 15 recent calls.
