Feature Request: Include image generation folder as simlink

Just noticed that each package generate pictures and place them in their own installation folder. I will use simlink to fix that, but would be nice to have something like that included - and if possible, with custom path for that :)

It would be best if we could specify a specific output folder, either universally or by package. Symlinks have the downside that the file actually lives in the package folder, so if you delete it you delete the generated pictures and may not even realize what has happened.
