I'm excited to announce that we've released the NanaZip 6.5 Final, now available for download.

Note: Read NanaZip Technical Focus from Kenji Mouri to clarify some future directions of NanaZip.

Starting with NanaZip 6.5 Final (6.5.1749.0), we have fixed some security vulnerabilities reported by Pig-Tail (Thepigtails):

Release Notes

  • Fix several issues for codecs. (Contributed by dinhngtu. Thanks to Pig-Tail.)
  • Introduce optional build with AddressSanitizer (ASAN) support. (Contributed by JarLob.)
  • Synchronize the 7-Zip ZS implementations to https://github.com/mcmilk/7-Zip-zstd/tree/d8d651b72a6a85353a23d3f19e0fd2d96c0f36b4. (Except the NanaZip File Manager.) (Thanks to Sergey G. Brester and Tino Reichardt.) (Note: Actually no useful changes since last synchronization.)
  • Update release tags rules in NanaZip Versioning.
  • Improve the build tools implementations.
