New Measurements

First of all, thank you for your work. This is exactly what I've been looking for for years.
I've built an automated process with n8n to send my Android Health Connect data to the Healthlog API. This works very well, but unfortunately, I can't transfer all the data because some measurements are missing. Is it possible to add health data like

• Total body water
• bone mass

Hi @Manschk3rl — thank you for the kind words at the start of your message, that genuinely made my day. Hearing "this is exactly what I've been looking for for years" is the best feedback a maintainer can get. And the n8n + Health Connect → HealthLog pipeline you built is exactly the kind of integration I was hoping someone would put together. 🙂

Both TOTAL_BODY_WATER and BONE_MASS will land as proper measurement types, on the same level as weight, blood pressure, glucose, and the rest. That means: charts, doctor-report PDF, dashboard widgets, locale-aware units — full integration, not a second-class metric. They'll ship in 1.3.0.

A few specifics that are relevant to your setup:

• Withings sync. Body+ scales already report total water mass and bone mass, so the same release will map both fields automatically — anyone with a Withings scale gets the new metrics without any extra config.
• Cleaner external ingest for n8n. I'm planning a dedicated POST /api/ingest/measurements endpoint with Bearer-token auth (analogous to the existing /api/ingest/medication). That should let you drop whatever cookie/session workaround you're using today and switch to a per-user API token — much nicer for n8n's HTTP node.

A couple of questions back to you, so the release actually fits your use case:

1. Which other Health Connect metrics are you currently piping in? I held off on Basal Metabolic Rate, Lean Body Mass, VO₂ Max, Respiratory Rate etc. because they're either redundant with TBW + Bone Mass or sit a bit outside HealthLog's cardio/metabolic focus — but I'd much rather hear from someone actually pushing data than guess. What do you wish was supported?
2. Would you be open to your n8n workflow being shared as a community example in the docs? Anonymised or with credit, however you prefer. Automated Health-Connect → self-hosted setup is exactly the kind of thing other users would benefit from seeing, and right now there's nothing like it published anywhere.
