How do you turn it off?

Hi there,

congrats on your great idea! However, I was wondering how you turn off the Pi as the SD card is known to easily get corrupted when power is disconnected without a proper shutdown.

Hey Tobias,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. To be honest, it was not something I had thought about. I am already working on a structural change to improve how the device operates; and luckily enough, these changes should help prevent the SD card from being corrupted when power is pulled abruptly. Chances on corruption still won't be zero, but it will become low enough that routine unplugging is far less of a concern than it is now.

Thanks! Maybe it is enough to mount the SD card as read-only ("Overlay File System") as there should be nothing that needs to be written.
Does a push button between GPIO3 and ground still work on the Pi Zero as it did the trick on "classic" Pi's?

Once I am confident the update I am working on is stable af, I'll definitely use overlayfs for an "appliance mode".

As for the push button between GPIO3 and ground, I am not sure. I will look into it and see if I can come up with something.
