Brunata Online — Wiki

A custom Home Assistant integration for Brunata Online accounts — track water, energy, and heat cost allocator meters directly in your dashboard, fully automatically.

Installation & setup · Using the sensors · Sensor availability · Debugging · Report an issue

What this integration does

  • Automatically discovers all meters on your Brunata Online account
  • Supports water (, l), energy (kWh, MWh), and heat cost allocator (units) meters
  • Groups sensors under devices for a clean dashboard
  • Uses standard Home Assistant device classes and state classes, with full Long Term Statistics support
  • Polls hourly via DataUpdateCoordinator, scheduled every hour

For installation instructions and general setup, see the README. This wiki covers usage details that go beyond what fits in the README.

Wiki pages

Page What it covers
Using the sensors What the sensor values mean, which meters work in the Energy dashboard, and why graphs show 0 right after setup
Sensor availability Why sensors stay available when a poll fails, how to spot stale readings with reading_date, and how to alert when readings stop arriving
Debugging When something looks wrong, there are two things you can hand over: a diagnostics report and a debug log.
