RoadGen is a powerful, artist-friendly Blender addon designed to automate the creation of complex road networks directly on high-poly terrains. It eliminates the tedious manual work of stitching roads to landscapes by procedurally generating dynamic embankment meshes that seamlessly merge your road networks into any terrain topology.

- Raycast-Based Placement: Effortlessly map out your road networks. Curves project onto the terrain using the edges of the road surface.
- Automated Embankment Generation: Automatically calculates and creates side slopes (embankments) that smoothly bridge the gap between the flat road surface and irregular terrain heights.
- Variable Road Widths: Adjust individual lanes or entire sections on the fly.
- Intersections & Overpasses: Handles complex multi-level crossings, clean intersections, and elevated highway overpasses procedurally.
- Multiple Road Surfaces: Assign and manage distinct material assignments (asphalt, dirt, cobblestone) directly from the tool panel.
- Road Markings: Assign different roadmarkings onto the road or add complex custom shapes using external meshes projected onto the road surface.
- Asset Scattering: Populate your embankments instantly with scatters using the generated color attribute masks.
- Use Blender 5.0 and above.
- Download the .blend file.
- Append the MRoadGenerator collection into your scene.
- Checkout the documentation video on all the settings/controls.
