Here is some local logistical information

Getting to the department

All activities will take place in the Zeeman building of the University of Warwick. You can see a campus map here. Note that (confusingly!) the Zeeman building is not the Mathematical Sciences Building (but is right next door to i).

For those staying in the Maths Houses, on your walk to the department you will pass close to a small Co-op grocery store (closes at 5pm on Sunday, but later the rest of the week), a Pret, and a cafe Nero.

The main bus stop on campus is close to the Co-op/Pret. From central Coventry, the fastest route is the 12X bus. The default way to pay is tap-and-cap (£3 per ride, capped at a day-saver fare of £5.50). The bus company is National Express West Midland - more information about weekly fares is available here.

Food

Lunch and dinner will be provided on Monday. For lunches on other days of the week we will go in groups to campus eateries. A list is here. There are some options for dinner food on campus, but better options are available in nearby towns such as Kenilworth and Leamington - locals will provide suggestions.

Coffee

Coffee will be available mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
