Animations rendering blank

When a (CBZ format) comic initially loads in the Simple Comic app with an animated GIF as the first panel, then the image often fails to render properly. Instead of the animation, I see a blank black screen.

As a workaround, I have to close the comic and reopen it.

If you can upload a zipped example that would be helpful. But since animated files aren't the main feature set this is a low priority bug.
